Pilot terms

The pilot

Deficiency Ledger compares the inspection reports and quote records you upload and lists reviewed findings that appear to have no matching proposal in those records. Your first audit covers one batch of reports and quote records and is free of charge.

If you want to continue after the first audit, we will send the monthly price and cancellation terms in writing. Nothing is charged unless you agree to them. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the paid month.

Your documents

You confirm that you are authorized to share the reports and quote records you upload, including any customer and site details they contain.

We use your documents only to prepare your audit and to answer your questions about it. We do not sell them, share them with other customers, or use them for marketing.

Uploads are stored privately with our providers (Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, and Cloudflare for file storage) and are accessible only to you and to us. We will tell you before using any additional service to process them.

Retention and deletion

You can ask us to delete your uploads and audit results at any time. If you do not continue after the pilot, we delete them within 30 days after the pilot ends. Copies in backups expire on the provider’s backup schedule.

What the audit is and is not

“Unquoted” means no confirmed matching proposal in the records you supplied, as of the audit date. A proposal may exist in records we were not given.

The audit does not perform inspections, determine code compliance, classify risk, or replace any required notification or reporting to an authority having jurisdiction. Your team decides what action to take.
